KAIS Timesheet Analytics is an AI-powered assistant built into KEBS that lets you manage your timesheet using natural-language prompts. Instead of navigating through menus and grids, you can simply type or click to book time, view summaries, and pull unsubmitted timesheet reports, all through a conversational interface.
Accessing the Timesheet Assistant
Access your AI timesheet assistant in seconds from anywhere in KEBS, without leaving your current workflow.
Click the KAIS button in the top navigation bar from anywhere in KEBS. This opens the KAIS panel. From there, navigate to Kais > Timesheet Assistant to launch the timesheet-specific AI agent.
Interface Layout

Quick Suggestion Cards
Complete your most frequent timesheet tasks with a single click, without typing any prompts. The assistant handles the rest through a guided conversation.
When you open the Timesheet Assistant, three quick suggestion cards appear below the welcome message. Click any card to start that workflow immediately.

| 📋 Book Timesheet | Starts a guided conversation to log your hours for the current or a specific week. The assistant asks which project, how many hours per day, and which days, then books the entries for you. |
| 🔄 View Timesheet Summary | Pulls up a summary of your timesheet for the current period, showing total hours logged, billable vs. non-billable split, and submission status per week. |
| 📈 View Unsubmitted Timesheet Report | Generates a report showing all unsubmitted timesheets across your team or organization, including employee names and which weeks are pending. Especially useful for managers tracking compliance. |
Using Natural-Language Prompts
Skip the manual grid entry entirely. Tell the assistant what you need in plain language, and it handles the data entry, lookups, and report generation for you.
The Timesheet Assistant understands natural-language prompts. Type your request in the chat input field at the bottom of the screen, and the assistant will respond with the relevant data or walk you through a guided workflow.
Booking Time
The assistant will confirm the project, dates, and hours before booking. If you are assigned to multiple projects, it will ask which one to use.
Viewing Summaries
The assistant returns a formatted summary with totals, breakdowns, and status indicators directly in the chat.
Reports and Analytics
For managers, the assistant can pull team-level reports and highlight employees with missing or overdue submissions.
Editing and Corrections
The assistant will confirm the change before applying it. Edits are only possible if the timesheet has not been submitted yet, or if editing of submitted timesheets is allowed in your configuration.
Prompt Library
Save time by using ready-made prompts from the library instead of typing from scratch. Discover capabilities you may not have known the assistant supports.
Click Prompt Library in the left sidebar to open a collection of pre-built prompts organized by task category. Each prompt is a ready-to-use template that you can click to execute immediately or customize before sending.
How to Use the Prompt Library
- 1Click Prompt Library in the KAIS left sidebar.
- 2Browse the available prompts by category (booking, summaries, reports, etc.).
- 3Click a prompt to load it into the chat input field.
- 4Optionally modify the prompt to fit your specific need (e.g., change the date or project name).
- 5Press send to execute the prompt.
Conversations and Chat History
Never lose context. Your past conversations with the Timesheet Assistant are saved and organized by month, so you can revisit previous bookings, summaries, and reports at any time.
The Conversations section in the left sidebar lists all your past interactions with the Timesheet Assistant, grouped by month (e.g., April 2026). Each conversation is labeled with a descriptive title based on what you discussed.

| Continue a Conversation | Click any past conversation to reopen it. You can continue where you left off, and the assistant retains the context from that session. |

Click More Agents at the bottom of the KAIS left sidebar to see the full list of available AI agents. Each agent specializes in a different KEBS module or workflow.
Switching Between Agents
- Click More Agents to view all available agents.
- Select a different agent (e.g., Scan Receipt) to switch to that agent’s context.
- Your Timesheet Assistant conversations are preserved and accessible whenever you switch back.
- Each agent has its own set of quick suggestions, prompt library, and conversation history.
