Task management in KEBS allows you to assign activities, attach supporting files, and track progress against planned timelines. Whether you are scheduling a client meeting, logging a demo call, or uploading project documents, the Activities and Attachments tabs within an Opportunity give you full control over task execution and file organization.
Activities Tab Overview
Keep every follow-up, meeting, and demo call organized under the relevant opportunity so your team can track planned versus actual progress in one place.
The Activities tab is available within the detail view of any opportunity. It displays all tasks linked to that opportunity in a structured table format, giving you a clear picture of what has been planned, what is in progress, and what is completed.
Navigating to the Activities Tab
- 1Open the Opportunities V2 module from the left sidebar.
- 2Click on the opportunity you want to manage. This opens the opportunity detail view.
- 3Select the Activities tab from the horizontal tab bar at the top of the detail view.
Once inside the Activities tab, you will see a Tasks section that shows the total count of tasks along with a list of all opportunity activities.

Tracking Planned vs Actual Tasks
Identify delays early and keep your deals on track by comparing what was planned against what has actually been completed.
The Activities tab provides a built-in way to monitor task progress. By reviewing the Start Date and End Date columns for each task, you can quickly assess whether activities are on schedule or running behind.
Best Practices for Tracking Tasks
- Set realistic dates: When creating tasks, assign start and end dates that reflect actual timelines to ensure accurate tracking.
- Review regularly: Check the Activities tab at least once a week to identify overdue tasks and take corrective action.
- Use task types consistently: Apply standard task types like “Follow-up Call”, “Demo Scheduled”, and “Client Meeting” across all opportunities so reporting stays consistent.
- Attach supporting documents: Link relevant files in the Attachments tab so the team has context for each task without searching through email or chat.
- Combine with Smart Reminders: Leverage the Smart Reminders widget on the KEBS Homepage to receive automated alerts when tasks are approaching their deadlines.
